VISION
In our vision we have shown first two propositions of land-use. They included puting new sport activities (recreational areas and sports objects) and development of cultural function.
GOALS
In order to meet sustainable development goals we concentrated in our project of three main areas. First of all, we tried to achieve a balance in the distressed district – in terms of social, ecological and economic issues. Of a big importance were also spatial planning goals, which we incorporated into the project. For these reasons, we gathered main challenges in terms of spatial planning, social balance and resilience and tried to find a respond for them in our project. Our goals are graphically presented by the charts and diagrams below.

1 PROPOSITION: ONE BIG HOUSING ESTATE
too much housing estates doesn’t make the district livable and attractive to spend more time in
Conclusions:
-need of enlivening the project with greenery, services and local business, what can not only
contribute to livability, but also encourage to use ecological transportation systems (walking, biking, using tram) and enjoy proximity of basic services
-need of increasing cultural offer to meet the needs of different social groups
-need of organizing well planned public areas for all social groups
2 PROPOSITION: GREEN LINES & SPOTS
the expensive, huge areas are used just for greenery, which is not
financially very beneficial and doesn’t provide many advantages for the users -if the areas are too big they can’t be used properly (there is no demand for such huge green areas) and will remain empty
Conclusions:
-the greenery should be rather used as well planned, organized, enriching the housing estates; it should be incorporated in housing and working zones to provide diversity
-instead of investing in very broad, parks (which can remain empty), more green waterfronts, green paths (see visualization) and green roads should be used in the district to provide healthy space encouraging pedestrians and bikers
-to make greenery play an important role some ecological systems like small retention, green street planters should be used in the project
