For the purposes of understanding the current immigrants present in Poland and their social, integration, housing, educational and working conditions; we’ve elaborated an informal survey. The target group was foreigners who are currently living in Poland.

 

Since this survey was elaborated by sharing it through different Facebook groups for foreigners in the country we will see a few differences with overall national statistics. Especially when it comes to country of origin, or the overall educational level (as more than 80% of the participants have completed higher education).

Yet, through the survey, we’ve found general patterns of behavior and acceptance that surprised us; like only a 33.7% of immigrants claim to have participated in activities involving the broadcast of their country of origin’s country; or only an 18.3% claiming to have the same level of opportunities as Polish nationals (more often British, American, Dutch, German or immigrants with strong polish roots).
